Our Purpose
To Foster, Adopt and Love Children

Our purpose plan is to foster, adopt and love children that are a ward of the State of Alabama. To give these children a place to belong to a family. There are currently over 6,000 children in foster care in Alabama alone and 300 of these waiting to be adopted. Some of these children will never have a forever family. They will stay in the foster care program until they age out of the program. They will be left to find their way with no support system (family) to help guide them.
This is where BRICH will change the lives of many. Our goal is to raise money to purchase 50 to 100 acres of land, build four main houses, another  home for additional volunteers. To provide homes for the children transitioning from foster care into adulthood. These homes will be 500 to 900 square foot, All the children will have the support and love they deserve with resources to work, go to school or learn more about the farming industry. There will also be a building that will house clothing, furniture, bedding, formula, diapers etc for new placements in Baldwin County, AL
BRICH will also farm this land raising our own beef, pork, chickens, goats and growing our own fruit trees, vegetables, herbs and spices. In teaching the children how to grow food from seed and to learn the care of animals. This gives children a sense of purpose and responsibility that they may have never known before.

BRICH also will have a common area of recreation including worship, swimming pool, soccer, basketball, football and volleyball courts. Trails for hiking, bicycling and running.

  1. BRICH was established December 9th, 2014 as a 501 (3)c non profit organization and all funds go directly to the organization. No volunteer is paid for the services rendered such as President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer or any other volunteer.

Please let us know what you would like to do to help God's children.

What could you do to help?

He who calls you to this work will be faithful to equip you for the work he has called you to! “For the God who calls you is faithful, and He can be trusted to make it so.” I Thess. 5:24

1. All Orphans Have a Father! God is the great protector and loving Father of all orphans.
Psalm 68:5 says, “Father of the fatherless and protector of widows, is God in his holy habitation.”
2. All Orphans Deserve Justice!
Deuteronomy 10:18 says, “He ensures that orphans and widows receive justice. He shows love to the foreigners living among you and gives them food and clothing.” Psalm 10:14 says“But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.”
3. The People of God Will Care for Orphan!
James 1:27 says, “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” God’s people are called to actively pursue meeting the needs of orphans and a great place to start is through prayer.
4. Deuteronomy 14:29 says, “And the Levite, because he has no portion or inheritance with you, and the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your towns, shall come and eat and be filled, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.”

God calls His people to specifically remember orphans in their giving.  As you consider how God may be calling you to care for orphans in their distress, take heart!
